CoachLatch’s planned vetting process brings together identity, qualification, reference, safeguarding, DBS and insurance checks—reducing the time you spend finding and assessing coaches.
Choose someone with the skills and equipment to deliver your session and your ethos. Schools and other hirers retain their own required arrival and safeguarding checks.

No coach found? No booking commission. Your membership continues.
Plus 10% of agreed coach pay on fulfilled bookings.

Available to businesses, schools, individuals and groups. CoachLatch currently adds no VAT: Louis Hanley is not VAT registered. Booking charges and the coach amount will be shown before payment. Read pricing and refund terms.
We aim to launch in early 2027. We’re registering coaches, completing their checks and welcoming hirers now, so we can build a useful local network before bookings open. Registration does not guarantee work or approval.
Sign in to create or update your private coach or hirer profile.
Louis Hanley trading as CoachLatch uses your documents, referee contacts, experience and preferences to assess your requested registration and suitability. Documents are private to you and authorised reviewers, not public or automatically sent to hirers. Public listing is optional and separately approved. No file or checkbox proves identity, DBS suitability or qualification authenticity.
We use the steps requested towards joining the service for ordinary onboarding information and legitimate interests for proportionate security. DBS collection requires a separately recorded lawful processing condition. Give your referees this notice before sharing their information. Contact louispwll@hotmail.com for access, correction, erasure or objections. You can complain to the ICO.
Identity and certificate copies are reviewed for necessity and should be removed after verification when no longer needed; proposed maximum six months after the decision unless a documented justification applies. Early-registration details are reviewed by 1 September 2027. Do not upload children’s details, medical information, bank details or unrelated material. Full privacy information.
DBS certificate collection awaits CoachLatch’s documented processing condition. Complete the other steps now. Read official DBS Update Service guidance.
Provide two referees. A training or placement contact can be used if you are newly qualified. An uploaded reference stays unverified until its source is checked.
Live payments are closed. No membership starts today.
When connected, Stripe collects payment-account information in its own secure flow. Stripe payment verification does not verify coaching qualifications or safeguarding suitability.
Proposed Premium: £49.99/month plus 6% of coach pay on fulfilled bookings. Occasional: £5 per published advert whether or not filled, plus 10% on fulfilled bookings. The controls below only operate with a separately configured Stripe test environment.
Save session information now. Drafts are private, not advertisements; matching, acceptance and live checkout are not open.
Owner access only. Includes contact information; keep exports secure and use only for the purposes registrants requested.
These explain how registration, checks and proposed launch bookings work.
Premium: £49.99/month plus 6% of agreed coach pay on fulfilled bookings. Pay per post: £5 charged upon publication plus 10% on fulfilled bookings. The £5 pays for publishing your advert and is not refunded solely because no coach accepts. This does not remove statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights, including where CoachLatch fails to provide the promised service. Final paid-service terms require review before billing opens.
Coaches manage their own tax and business affairs where the law requires them to do so. CoachLatch and hirers must also meet any legal duties that apply to them. Joining as a freelancer does not by itself decide employment or tax status.
Post in advance or request urgent cover. Aim to confirm two hours before the start. The hard confirmation deadline is one hour before the session; unconfirmed requests then close as unfilled so organisers can notify participants. Applications alone are not confirmed bookings. Live booking functions are not yet open.
Proposed for live launch: both parties agree the coach, rate, session brief, equipment, venue and terms. The hirer then pays the full coach amount and platform fees through hosted checkout. Agreement alone is not confirmation. Only server-confirmed successful payment before the booking cut-off confirms the session.
Payment failure leaves the request unconfirmed, with a short retry opportunity before the deadline. Coaches must not start an unconfirmed assignment. Funds remain within the configured payment-provider flow; this is not an escrow service or a guarantee against chargebacks.
After the session ends, the hirer has 48 hours to report a problem through the booking record. No response is required for an undisputed booking. If no issue is reported by the deadline, the funded booking becomes eligible for the next Saturday release batch, subject to payment-provider availability and legal payment deadlines. Silence means no issue was reported; it is not independent proof of attendance. A report triggers prompt human review, not automatic forfeiture of pay. Earned pay and undisputed amounts must be handled lawfully.
Proposed weekly processing: eligible earnings enter a Saturday release batch, subject to the agreed cut-off, available settled funds and lawful payment deadlines. Saturday processing is not a promise of Saturday bank receipt. Disputed sessions require prompt human assessment; confirmed non-delivery triggers an authorised refund under the agreed terms. A review request follows the session and never conditions payment.
These live functions are not enabled. Employment/tax status, worker-payment obligations, refund rules, provider approval and the final payout timetable must be settled before implementation.

We collect your name, contact details, account-linked identifier, role, organisation, area, sports, session preferences, description, experience, qualification summaries and recorded choices. We use these to manage the early registration and take steps at your request towards using the service. We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate security and administration. Optional launch emails and marketing require your separate choices above; Email delivery requires an appointed SMTP supplier; marketing and SMS remain disabled.
Registrations are stored in restricted hosted storage. Authorised CoachLatch administrators can review them; they are not a public directory or shared with other registrants. The hosting service processes authentication, storage and operational information. Signing in uses Supabase email authentication. Netlify hosts this website; Supabase provides the account, database and file services. Their processing arrangements and international-transfer safeguards must be confirmed before collecting documents. Use only the designated private evidence area for identity and certificate files. DBS collection has a separate activation gate. Do not enter child, health or payment-card data.
We will review and delete early-registration records by 1 September 2027 unless you join the operational service or there is a documented legal need to retain specific information. You can view, update, download or delete your own registration here. Essential security logs/backups may follow the hosting provider’s retention rules. Necessary sign-in technologies may be used; this page adds no advertising analytics.
You may request access, correction, applicable erasure/restriction/portability and object to legitimate-interest processing. Withdraw optional email choices here or contact us. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to applicable lawful extensions. You can complain to the ICO. Please keep your contact details accurate; submitting an email address does not verify ownership of it.
Cancellation less than three hours before a confirmed session, or non-attendance, is referred for human review. Report problems promptly; genuine illness, emergency, safety concerns and other reasonable circumstances are considered. No automatic penalty applies merely because a cancellation occurred.
Proposed escalation for avoidable incidents within a rolling six-month period: first, a written warning and support; second, a possible seven-day restriction on accepting new work; third, an account suitability review, potentially including a longer restriction. The coach can explain the circumstances and appeal. Existing bookings need an individual cover plan. No automatic £10 fine, deduction from earned pay or work-finding charge is imposed. This policy must be agreed in final worker/hirer terms before live bookings.
England-only booking launch is planned for early 2027, initially focused on Kent and south-east London. Jobs, matching alerts, bookings, membership billing and coach payments are not open. Session details and vetting requirements will depend on the sport, setting and participants. Schools and other hirers retain their applicable duties. No claim is made that all registered coaches are currently vetted.
